A tighter path through the engine
ALEPH's discovery programme depends on more than producing an interesting candidate. Generated material has to remain bound to what it claims, pass the appropriate checks and be usable in a later research step.
The 21 October local repair improved how research material is bound and inspected, along with readiness and error handling. Its reported ordinary software checks included formatting, compilation and 121 passing operator tests, with six ignored.
Why this work matters
A reliable route from proposal to inspection lets the project ask better questions about usefulness. Was a generated resource actually used? Did it help? Could it be used again later, away from the setting that produced it? Each question requires a distinct observation.
